Elements of this website, including but not limited to its name, trade marks, logos design, text, graphics, the selection and arrangement thereof, are and shall remain owned by Comic Relief (and freely licensed to the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY Assembly ), although certain third party copyright materials will be included on the website from time to time, and appropriate credits will be displayed.
You are allowed to download the material contained on this website, and to use the site's assets only for the purposes of raising awareness about MAKE POVERTY HISTORY . You are not to alter any material as provided on this site in any way, shape or form. You are not allowed to sell any of the elements on to third parties or utilise any of the elements of the site for personal gain. Any alterations of material or any other improper use of assets found on this website are strictly prohibited and a violation of Comic Relief' s proprietary rights.

The information you submit on registration after 1st January 2006
From 1st January 2006 to 31st July 2006 supporter's data for MAKE POVERTY HISTORY is being collected from this site and managed securely by Comic Relief on behalf of the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY Assembly. Comic Relief has legal obligations towards you in the way they deal with that data. We must collect the information fairly, and we must let you know how we will use it. Your data will be held on Comic Relief's systems for as long as you use any service that you have requested, and will be removed in the event that the purpose has been met or you no longer wish to continue your registration as a recipient of information. Comic Relief will ensure that all personal information supplied in the registration process is held securely and is accessible to you, in accordance with best practice set out in the Data Protection Act 1998. Comic Relief will ensure you are only supplied with communications associated with the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY campaign, and that your registration data is not passed to any individual member organisation or associated third party (except as regards emails, as described below). By signing up to keep in touch with MAKE POVERTY HISTORY, or completing an action on behalf of the campaign, you are not joining any member organisation's mailing lists. On or before the 31st July 2006 you will be contacted about the future of the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY email community. Should communication to the community be ceased at that time, all data associated with the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY campaign will be deleted in accordance with the wishes of the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY Assembly. The information you submit when you email MAKE POVERTY HISTORY
If you wish to email MAKE POVERTY HISTORY, please note that your email will be passed directly to a member of the coalition, who will respond on behalf of MAKE POVERTY HISTORY. The coalition member will be one of those listed within the site .The member of the coalition will identify themselves when they respond to your email and will be responsible for keeping the data you provide secure and for complying with the Data Protection Act 1998. Comic Relief is not responsible for your data after you send your email. Each member of the coalition receiving emails from this site has committed: (a) not to put your personal information onto their organisation's mailing lists without your permission, and (b) on 31st July 2006, to delete all personal information they have received to date through the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY website, in accordance with the wishes of the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY Assembly.
