Terms of Use
1. Promotion is open to members of the Make Poverty History coalition who are resident in the UK or Channel Islands and aged 16 or over, excluding all promoters involved in The Edinburgh 50,000 - The Final Push Concert, Live 8, Mobile Interactive Group Ltd, Trinity Street Ltd or the trustees of the Band Aid Charitable Trust or any of their subsidiary companies, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
2. The promotion runs closes at 5pm on Wednesday 22nd June 2005.
3. The promotion is open to all members of the Make Poverty History coalition who are UK and Channel Islands mobile users from all UK networks. Each entry costs £1.50 plus your operator's standard text charge. Ask the bill payer's permission before texting.
4. No purchase necessary.
5. There are between 2,500 and 5,000 pairs of tickets to be won. Each ticket will admit one person to The Edinburgh 50,000 - The Final Push Concert, at Murrayfield, Edinburgh on 6th July 2005. If you need a "special access" ticket due to disability or other access issues, you will find out how to apply for one when you receive your winning tickets.
6. No cash or credit alternatives will be offered. Tickets cannot be transferred, replaced or re-sold.
7. There is no limit to the number of times an individual can be entered into the promotion, but they must fulfil the required criteria each time to qualify. Each individual address received via post or number received via SMS can only win one pair of tickets.
8. Winners will be selected at random from all entries received by 5pm on Wednesday 22nd June 2005. Mobile telephone entrants who win will be notified via text message and then have to claim their tickets online. The closing time for claiming winning tickets online is 5pm on Saturday 25th June 2005. Online claimants will be able to receive their tickets by paying £2 to receive their tickets by recorded delivery. Postal entrants who win will be notified by post and will receive their tickets by recorded delivery. Postal entrants can only receive their tickets by recorded delivery but no charge will be made for this . The Promoter reserves the right to select alternative winners in the event that winners cannot be contacted within a reasonable time or if tickets are unclaimed.
9. Tickets are issued subject to these terms and conditions and those that appear on the reverse of the ticket.
10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for: any tax liability caused/incurred by an individual or business relating to this promotion, entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post or in transmission; nor for any cancellation, postponement of The Edinburgh 50,000 - The Final Push Concert or any substitution or non-appearance of performers at The Edinburgh 50,000 - The Final Push Concert.
11. The Promoters' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The Promoter reserves the right, where it considers there to have been any breach of these Terms and Conditions, any fraud or any abuse of the promotion, to refuse any application, deny entry into the promotion or seek reimbursement of any tickets awarded. This competition is governed by Scots Law.
13. For lists of the winners, send a stamped self-addressed envelope to The Edinburgh 50,000 - The Final Push Concert, Princes Exchange, 1 Earl Grey Street, Edinburgh EH3 9AQ between 28 th June and 5th July 2005.
